Stefan Schwarz

Stefan Schwarz is a veterinarian by training and the managing director of the Institute of Microbiology and Epizootics at Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2014, he is also a visiting professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural University. Stefan Schwarz holds strong collaborations with several research groups in China on antimicrobial resistance to last resort drugs, the corresponding genes and the mobile elements that carry these genes.
